Portugal and Spain have both been playing well at Euro 2012, but only one of these squads will get a key victory on Wednesday. Spain is at -275 odds at most online sportsbooks, while Portugal comes in at +215 without the threat of a draw. Once you figure in the draw at +250 odds, you can now get Spain at -120 or Portugal at +350. This one is expected to be a low-scoring affair and the total is set at just 2 goals with the under being a -120 favorite. Figuring out the winner here will likely to come down to whether or not you think the Spanish can find an answer for Ronaldo’s ability to create chances.

Spain tied Italy 1-1 to open their Euro 2012 run but they’ve won every match since then and are looking strong on both sides of the pitch. The Spanish took out Ireland 4-0, Croatia 1-0, and France 2-0 most recently back in the quarterfinals. This is a team that is playing incredible defense, but they also have as much offensive potential as any team in the tournament if they get into a high-scoring match at some point down the line.
Portugal hasn’t had such an easy road to advance to this point in the tournament after starting off Euro 2012 with a 0-1 loss against Germany. Denmark was a challenge in a 3-2 victory next out, and Portugal pulled an upset over the Netherlands in a 2-1 final. Next up was the Czech Republic and Portugal pulled out a 1-0 win to advance to Wednesday’s matchup against Spain. Portugal has shown holes on both offense and defense, but they also have a few stars that seem to have an innate ability to figure out how to get the all-important victory.
