The San Francisco Giants (102-73) pulled off the upset in game 1 of the 2012 World Series, and now the Detroit Tigers (95-77) will try to even things up on Thursday in game 2. Detroit was on the road in game 1 at AT&T Park where they will also be for game 2, but they had Justin Verlander on the mound and were +156 favorites. San Francisco didn’t have any trouble winning 8-3 as the total easily soared over the line of 6.5 runs.
