There is plenty on the line when the Baltimore Ravens (11-4) hit the road to take on the Cincinnati Bengals (9-6) this weekend.
Kickoff is set for 4:15 PM ET and this clash between AFC North rivals will go a long way toward figuring out how the conference playoff picture will play out.
Baltimore still hasn’t clinched the AFC North and a loss here, combined with a Pittsburgh Steelers victory, would cost them the crown.
The Bengals need an outright win to ensure that they even get to play in the postseason, so you can expect both teams to be playing their hearts out on Sunday.
The Ravens were 31-24 winners as 7-point favorites against the Bengals earlier this season, and the win marked the 4th straight time the home team has grabbed a victory in this head-to-head series.
Cincinnati will be the home team on Sunday and they’ve won outright as underdogs the last 2 times that the Ravens visited.
The under has been a winner in 4 of the last 5 meetings between Baltimore and Cincinnati.
Baltimore opened up as a 3-point road favorite earlier in the week but has been bet down to -1.5, -2, or -2.5 depending on which sportsbook you wager with.
Bet-tracking websites are showing that the Ravens are getting roughly 60% of the point spread action, making the line move a bit of a head scratcher. The total was released at 39 but it didn’t take long for the number to move down to 38.
Although it is not a popular line amongst prominent sportsbooks, I am starting to see a total of 37.5 become available as we get closer to start time.
The Ravens have won outright in 5 of their last 6 but have covered the point spread in just 3 of their last 10 heading into Sunday’s matchup.
Cincinnati has covered the point spread just once over their last 7 games despite winning outright in 3 of 5.
