The 2011 Music City Bowl will feature a 6:40 PM ET clash between the Wake Forest Demon Deacons (6-6) and the Mississippi State Bulldogs (6-6).
This will be the 3rd of 4 games televised by ESPN on December 30th, precluded by the Armed Forces Bowl between BYU and Tulsa and the Pinstripe Bowl between Iowa State and Rutgers.
The Insight Bowl between Iowa and Oklahoma is the last of the 4 bowl games played that day.
SEC teams are getting plenty of love from sports bettors and it is not all that surprising to see the Bulldogs garnering close to 70% of bets on the point spread according to college football wager-tracking websites.
Mississippi State is a 7-point favorite after opening up at -6.5, although the original line is still available at certain sportsbooks.

The Bulldogs have actually covered the point spread in 5 of their last 6 overall after starting out at 1-5 against the odds earlier in the year.
Mississippi State has gone under the posted total in 7 of their 12 games this season, but they’ve started to play in higher scoring games recently as 3 of their last 5 have gone over the number that Las Vegas set.
