The Rutgers Scarlet Knights (8-4) and the Iowa State Cyclones (6-6) will meet up in the 2011 Pinstripe Bowl on December 30th, and the 3:20 PM ET clash will be the 2nd of 3 bowl games played on ESPN that Friday.
The Pinstripe Bowl is played at Yankee Stadium and this will be the 2nd time the game is played after Syracuse defeated Kansas State 36-34 in the 2010 edition.
Rutgers is a 1.5-point favorite and has moved up from the opening line of -1 despite close to 60% of tracked college football bettors going with the Cyclones.
The total has also seen some movement and currently sits at 44.5 after debuting at 43 earlier in the week.
The Scarlet Knights come into the Pinstripe Bowl on the heels of a 22-40 loss at Connecticut that ended a 3-game winning streak for the underdog.
Rutgers has been a streaky team this year and has managed to cover the point spread in 7 of their 8 wins while doing so in just 1 of their 4 losses.
The Scarlet Knights have been a great team to bet the under on and they have not met the total in 9 of their 12 games this season.

Iowa State has been equally streaky and is on a 2-game losing streak right now with their last win coming as 26.5-point underdogs against Oklahoma State.
The Cyclones have only won 3 of their last 6 games but they’ve managed to cover the point spread in 5 of those matchups.
Iowa State has been another great under bet and they have now gone under in 5 of their past 6 games this season.
Rutgers averages more points per game this season despite coming in at only 336.5 total yards per game to Iowa State’s 392.8.
