Saturday’s game between the Denver Broncos (8-6) and the Buffalo Bills (5-9) figures to be a good one, and the action will kick off at 1:00 PM ET.
The Broncos had won 6 straight games before falling in a one-sided 23-41 game against the New England Patriots last week, while the Bills are now on a 7-game losing streak after coming up just short in a 23-30 home loss to the Miami Dolphins most recently.
Buffalo is at home but that hasn’t stopped the NFL odds makers from installing the visiting Broncos as a 1.5-point favorite.
Close to 65% of tracked NFL bettors are going with Denver and it’s not really that surprising considering how each team has played lately.
The total for the Denver vs. Buffalo game opened up at 42.5 but has since been bet down to 41.5, although those looking at the under should still be able to find a 42 at certain sportsbooks.
These teams last met up in 2008 when the Bills won 30-23 in Denver as 6-point underdogs. Denver was a road winner as a 3-point underdog in 2007, and the Broncos again won 28-17 in Buffalo as 8-point favorites in 2005.
The Bills have covered the point spread in 3 of the 4 meetings between these teams since 2002, yet they’ve only won outright once.
The over has been a winner in 3 of those 4 head-to-head meetings, and the road team has won outright in the last 3 matchups.

The Broncos have gone under the total in 4 of their last 6 games this season and haven’t covered a point spread in 2 straight after doing so in 5 consecutive games previously.
Buffalo has covered a point spread just once through their last 7 games and has only gone under the total in 2 of their last 6.
