The only Christmas Day game played this year will be an NFC North showdown between the Chicago Bears (7-7) and the Green Bay Packers (13-1).
These two teams have a storied history against one another and the first meeting between them came back in 1921 when the Bears won 20-0.
The Bears and Packers have now played a total of 183 times and it is Chicago who leads at 92-85-6.
Although the Bears have the all-time lead, things have changed a bit in recent years because the Packers have taken 5 of the last 6 games.
Green Bay was a 27-17 road winner in Chicago as a 4-point favorite earlier this season and it was the 2nd time in a row the Packers went on the road to beat the Bears.
The under has now hit in 8 straight head-to-head meetings between these teams, and the Packers were 10-3 winners the last time the game was played at Lambeau Field.
Green Bay will be at home on Christmas this time around and they’ll be putting their 6-0 record at Lambeau on the line against a Chicago squad that has amassed just a 2-4 mark on the road this year.

The NFL betting odds show that the Packers are a 13-point favorite for Sunday’s game, although bettors that want to take the Bears can still find a +13.5 at the Las Vegas Hilton and other sportsbooks.
The total sits at 45 and hasn’t seen much action since debuting.
Despite the strong trend of under winners when these teams meet up recently, it is worth pointing out that Chicago and Green Bay have combined to go over the number in 17 of their 28 games played during the 2011 season.
