The Detroit Lions (8-5) and the Oakland Raiders (7-6) are in the thick of the playoff hunt, and one of them will take a big step forward in Sunday’s 4:05 PM ET game.
The Raiders will be at home for this one, yet it is it the visiting Lions who are currently favored by a single point.
The total started off at 49.5 but has been bet down as low as 47 despite the fact that both of these teams are capable of putting up some points.

The Lions were 36-21 winners in Oakland in the last head-to-head meeting between these teams back in 2007.
Detroit was a 3-point underdog in that clash, and the total went over the line of 39.5. Oakland and Detroit also met up in 2003 when the Lions won 23-13 at home as 3-point underdogs.
Unlike the previous matchup, this one went under the total which was set at 39.
Detroit looked like a Super Bowl contender earlier in the year but has since won just 3 of their last 8 games while covering the point spread in only 2 of those 8.
Oakland picked up 3 straight wins not long ago but has since suffered back-to-back losses against the Miami Dolphins and the Green Bay Packers.
