Eat a few slices of cheap pizza while watching Tuesday’s Little Caesars Bowl between the Western Michigan Broncos (7-5) and the Purdue Boilermakers (6-6).
Start time will be 4:30 PM ET on December 27th, and the game will be shown live on ESPN.
The Purdue Boilermakers opened as 1-point favorites but were quickly bet up to -2.5 on the point spread.
The Wynn is the only Las Vegas sportsbook that I’m aware of that is still offering Purdue -2, so be sure to wager on the Boilermakers with them if that is your bet of choice and you are in Nevada.
The total started out at 61 but was quickly bet down to 60.
Western Michigan has been the superior team for wagering purposes this year, and they’ve covered the point spread in 8 of their 12 games.
The Broncos enter the Little Caesars Bowl on the heels of 3 straight point spread covers, and their last 2 outright losses this season were by a combined 7 points.
Western Michigan games have gone over the total in 6 of 8, while Purdue has followed suit in 3 of their previous 4.
The Little Caesars Bowl is played at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan, and the last time that Purdue traveled to this state to play resulted in a 14-26 loss against the Wolverines about 2 months before the date of the bowl.

The last head-to-head meeting between these teams was back in 2002 when Purdue won 28-24 at home but didn’t even come close to covering the point spread that had them listed as 17-point favorites.
The Boilermakers have covered the point spread in just 1 of their 5 most recent games this season, and they have a win/loss record of only 1-4 when having to travel this year.
Western Michigan hasn’t been much stronger but their 2-5 mark away from home is still tops in this bowl matchup.
