An old rivalry is renewed on Sunday, and the lead of the NFC East division is on the line. The New York Giants (6-6) will go on the road to try to knock off the Dallas Cowboys (7-5), and the game figures to be one of the most competitive on the schedule this weekend.
Dallas opened up at -5.5 on the point spread but has since been bet down to -3.5 thanks to close to 70% of tracked NFL bettors going with the Giants.
The total opened at 49.5 but has been bet down as low as 48.5.
Dallas might be only 2-4 on the road this season, but they have put together a strong 5-1 record when playing at home in Cowboys Stadium.
The Cowboys had a 4-game winning streak snapped last week in a 13-19 overtime loss at the Arizona Cardinals, making it the 3rd game in a row that Dallas has been involved in that either went to overtime or that was decided by a single point.
Despite the recent success, the Cowboys have covered the point spread in just 1 of their last 6 games while going under the total in 2 straight and 7 of their 12 on the season.

The Giants had won 5 of 6 games and looked to be in firm control of the NFC East before dropping 4 straight heading into Sunday’s 8:20 PM ET clash.
New York has lost against the San Francisco 49ers, Philadelphia Eagles, New Orleans Saints, and Green Bay Packers during this skid, so at least they aren’t going down to bottom feeders.
The Giants have covered the point spread in just 2 of their last 8 games and their last 2 have gone over the wagering total.
