The San Francisco 49ers (10-2) will try to keep their incredible and unlikely season going against the Arizona Cardinals (5-7) on Sunday.
Las Vegas had San Francisco’s season win total at just 8 victories before the season started, and it didn’t take long for one of the surprise NFL teams to exceed that number.
The 49ers currently have the 2nd best record in football behind the Green Bay Packers, and it will be interesting to see if they can run the mark to 11-2 in this 4:05 PM ET clash with the Cardinals.
Arizona usually has one of the best home-field advantages in the NFL, and the Cardinals are 3-2 there this season.
The Cardinals started the season off very poorly but have since rebounded to win 4 of their last 5.
The only loss for Arizona during their last 5 was a 7-23 road defeat at the hands of the 49ers, so the Cardinals will be looking for some revenge in their home stadium.
The 49ers are currently 3.5-point road favorites with a total of 39.5 according to Las Vegas sportsbooks.
San Francisco is attracting 80% of tracked bets on the point spread here, mostly due to the fact that they have been 11-1 against the betting odds this season.
The Cardinals are 7-5 against the point spread on the year after covering the line in 5 of their last 6.
While Arizona is getting healthier after some early-season injuries, the 49ers are potentially going to be without two of their key players on Sunday.
Star linebacker Patrick Willis is listed as doubtful with a pulled right hamstring, while veteran wide receiver Braylon Edwards is currently questionable to play as he recovers from a knee injury that forced him out of last weekend’s game against the St. Louis Rams.
