The Carolina Panthers (4-8) aren’t heading toward the NFL Playoffs, but quarterback Cam Newton provides plenty of incentive to watch their Sunday game against the Atlanta Falcons (7-5).
The former Auburn star has made plenty of bad decisions in the passing game, but his ability to run the ball makes for some big plays on any Sunday.
Newton already broke the NFL rookie touchdown record for a quarterback and will look to add to his statistics in this 1:00 PM ET clash.
The Falcons have won 5 of their last 7 games but are coming off of a 10-17 road loss to the Houston Texans in which they were considered 1-point favorites.
Atlanta will again be a small favorite in this one and they are currently listed at -2.5 after opening at -3 earlier in the week.
