The New England Patriots (9-3) are doing what they seemingly do every year at this time, and unfortunately for fans of the Washington Redskins (4-8), it appears they are also doing what they do every season.
The Patriots have won 4 straight games heading into this 1:00 PM ET clash with Washington, while the Redskins have lost 7 of their last 8 and now have some key suspensions to deal with.
As if the implosion of what looked to be a decent season wasn’t enough for the Redskins, they have now learned that tackle Trent Williams and tight end Fred Davis have been suspended for the remainder of the season for failing drug tests.
Cornerback Phillip Buchanon (neck), tight end Chris Cooley (hand), and running back Tim Hightower (knee) have already been placed on injured reserve this season, while safety LaRon Landry (Achilles) listed as questionable to play on Sunday.
